Why Study Singapore?

Singapore is a multicultural and thriving island country. It has a diverse and rich history, as well as a cosmopolitan and fast-paced lifestyle. When you combine this with a large number of world-class colleges, Singapore is the ideal destination for foreign students seeking a diverse and modern higher education experience.

Singapore is very proud of its exceptionally high education and learning levels. Singaporean universities place a heavy emphasis on science. Many universities in Singapore have close industry links, allowing you to obtain realistic experience when pursuing your degree. This not only makes learning more fun, but it can also make it easier for you to find work.

The country’s educational system is well-developed, with numerous opportunities for foreign students. In Singapore, education is a top priority, and the country is known as a “world schoolhouse.” As Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles (founder of the Singapore Institution, now known as the Raffles Institution) launched the British-based education system in 1823, a heavy focus on education began. Singapore is also one of the world’s giants in higher education, both in Asia and globally.

Three of Singapore’s universities are among the top 500 universities in the 2019 QS World University Rankings. The National University of Singapore (NUS), which is ranked 11th, is the top-ranked.
